A splendid wine to woo your valentine
Nitida Wine Estate, owned by Bernhard Veller, is on an East Facing slope in the small Durbanville Wine Appellation. The slope allows the cool breezes off the cold Benguela Current which moves up the West Coast, to filter down through the vineyards ameliorating Summer heat. This allows for a longer hang time before ripeness, extra flavour in the grapes.
The Restaurants on Nitida
The Estate has two restaurants. Tables at Nitida which is a Bistro style restaurant which has an eclectic breakfast and lunch offering. Cassia’s Menu is more classical with a full offering for Lunch and Dinner. Use the social media links below to contact the restaurants for opening times.
Etienne Louw is the Estate’s Winemaker. He is producing some very exciting wines with some new additions to the Nitida Range.
