Mulderbosch Wine Estate is on the Polkadraai Road in the Stellenbosch Wine Appellation. I have been enamoured of Mulderbosch Wines ever since I first put them on the wine list at my restaurant in the mid 1990s. What caught me first was this interesting packaging, a Cigar Label instead of the conventional. I have known the wine makers over the years, and the one constant has been quality steps up each year. The wines are stellar.

Henry Kotze, the winemaker at Mulderbosch, has excellent experience, especially in Bordeaux, the home of Sauvignon Blanc. And he has produced a real gem here.
