Vergelegen Reserve Semillon 2018
Founded in the late 1600s, Vergelegen is a legend in Cape Winelands History. It is situated in the Helderberg Bowl at the outer edges of the Stellenbosch Wine Appellation in Somerset West, between the town and the mountains.

When, in November 1705, Reverend Francois Valentijn visited Vergelegen he uttered the now well-known words: ”I saw this Estate with Exceptional Pleasure, since everything was laid out wonderfully finely.” Wonderfully finely could easily, and perhaps more so, be used to describe this model estate in 2021.

The wines are made in a cellar up on the hill behind the estate by Andre van Rensburg, Beautiful wines, award winning wines and wines which give the greatest of pleasure to the drinker.
