Klein Constantia Wine Estate is situated in one of the oldest wine regions in South Africa, the Constantia Wine Appellation

This wine has been 40 years in the making – it is a refinement and application of all the lessons learnt in the vineyards, in the cellar and in the marketplace. It features a new label, new embossed bottle and a new capsule.

It is quintessentially Klein Constantia – a true expression of place – representative of its modern history, the people involved, and its terroir.

With this vintage Klein Constantia honours the giants on whose shoulders we stand today, as well as the variety that put Klein Constantia on the world wine map. Duggie Jooste, who had the dream, the determination, and the commitment to revitalizing the rundown property and develop it into a model of perfection to produce some of the best wine possible in the Cape. “Everything we do must be of the best possible standard”

Ernst le Roux who expertly analyzed the soil, recognized the greatness of the terroir, and matched it to the best suited varieties.

Kobus Jordaan and his team who prepared the soil and established the vineyards so well.

And the legendary Ross Gower who made the first vintage of Klein Constantia Sauvignon blanc in 1986.
