La Cave Cape Blend 2017

La Cave Wines are made by Wellington Wines in the Wellington Wine Appellation. Beautiful wine country which produces fine grapes for fine wines. Wellington Wines had a creaking cabinet of medals, awards, and trophies, and justly so as the wines are sublime.

The La Cave Cape Blend 2017 has been given first class treatment in the cellar. The 60% Pinotage, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot, were separately vinified and matured for 8 months in new 225 litre French Oak Barrels. Blending then took place and the new wine spent a further 10months in the new barrels.

Pair with a Sunday Lunch Roast Beef and all the accompaniments
