Guardian Peak Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
This wine is a total pleasure to drink, medium of body, smooth soft and brimming with the classical Cabernet whiffs and flavours. Crème de Cassis, crushed blueberries, dark chocolate and caramelly oak with its concomitant spice and vanilla. The wine is finely balanced with the quartet of fruit, acidity, tannins and oak in perfect harmony. Good aftertaste, with cedar and cherry tobacco notes.

 

Guardian Peak Shiraz 2019
Also, an utterly delicious, medium bodied, drink me now wine. The aromas are all about black fruit with touches of coffee and chocolate, and the oak and its brown spices and vanilla. The palate is full of sappy black fruit, gentle acidity, satiny tannins and a delicious sweet fruited aftertaste.

 

Guardian Peak S M G 2016
Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache in a medium to full bodied blend, reflecting the wines of the Rhône region of France. The aromas are typical of this style of blend, plums, red and black berries and cherries and plums. These are repeated on the palate which is rich and generous and has a lovely line of fruit acidity from entry to the aftertaste. The flavours are of spiced plum pudding and intense ripe ‘sweet’ fruit. Lovely textures, quite beguiling in its invitation to take another sip.
