This is the second Red Wine Rendezvous in the series featuring a hearty 3-course dinner prepared with love by Chef Kerry Kilpin and accompanied by Steenberg’s fine red wine selection.
Grilling Fish on the Planche
Chef Kerry’s creamy charred red pepper and paprika soup enriched with gorgonzola mousse and served with crusty homemade bread and spicy humus, sets the tone for a nurturing winter food and wine experience. The main course of slow braised lamb neck with lemon and herb risotto is the perfect pairing for a Steenberg red. To add even more goodness, it is served with sweet glazed carrots and pan fried winter vegetables. Dessert is pure bliss with Chef Kerry’s passion fruit tart with strawberry salad, lemon curd, hibiscus ice cream and Italian meringue.
The cost of the Red Wine Rendezvous is R395 per person and includes the 3-course dinner and the wines. A complimentary welcome drink will be served upon arrival at 18h30.
