The Durbanville Wine Appellation is a small one. A major part of it is contained in a valley which opens out facing The Atlantic Ocean with its cold Benguela Current. Table Mountain and Robben Island are in perfect view.

One of the specialties of the Durbanville Hills Winery is Sauvignon Blanc. Martin Moore is the founding Cellarmaster, and this year is celebrating his 25th Harvest at the Winery. Kobus Gerber, the Winery’s White Wine Specialist, and his team handle the full spectrum of white wines issuing forth from the Estate. Wilhelm Coetzee is the Red Wine Specialist and Jenna Higgins is their newly appointed Assistant Winemaker
The Collector’s Reserve is a premium range. Beautifully packaged with a lino cut design by Theo Vorster, in this case, a lovely misty design with zebras and seagulls. It is the content that is important and in this case sublime.
