Vergelegen Wine Estate is situated in one of the more beautiful corners of the Stellenbosch Wine Appellation, in what my father used to call, the Helderberg Bowl.
Apart from wine, the Estate has a herd of Nguni Cattle and two restaurants, Stables and Camphors. And there Picnics have their own fame.

Andre van Rensburg has been winemaker there for a number of years and has certainly made his mark in a major way with the Estate’s Award Winning Wines.
