Iona Wine Estate is on the Elgin Highlands in the cool [climate] cool [fashion in wine] of the Elgin Wine Appellation. Surprisingly the Estate is only 5 km from the Atlantic Ocean, cooling breezes from which ameliorate Summer heat in the vineyards.
