The Stellenbosch Wine Festival presented by Pick n Pay announced that it would be hosting its wine festival on April 6th and 7th, 2019 at the North Wharf, V&A Waterfront.
Showcasing hundreds of Stellenbosch Wines from 40 award-winning producers, the Stellenbosch Wine Festival presented by Pick n Pay is hugely popular, and an annual highlight. Attendees to this lifestyle festival can enjoy Stellenbosch’s finest wines or opt for specialised food and wine pairings in the Pick n Pay Tasting Room. Festival attendees will also be able to meet the winemakers from esteemed Stellenbosch properties, taste their wines and hear the stories that inspired their delicious creations.
Stellenbosch Wine Routes’ Chairman, Michael Ratcliffe said: “Stellenbosch’s wines are some of the best in the world and we would like to spread this message to a large audience. By bringing this additional festival to Cape Town we are inviting bigger participation by consumers and even more followers of our wines. Our intention is to take the festival to Johannesburg later this year, and perhaps even to a global stage – in addition to a Stellenbosch Wine Festival in the heart of its home later this year.”
Entertainment will be provided by top SA’s artists Hot Water on Saturday 6 April and Jeremy Olivier on Sunday 7 April.
People who would like to attend the Stellenbosch Wine Festival by Pick n Pay must book tickets on www.webtickets.co.za.
