Always exciting happenings at Boschendal and this weekend where you can enjoy a full informative day with Natasha Rightford, probiotic soil remediation practitioner, in partnership with Megan McCarthy, agroecologist and food producer who runs the fabulous Werf Garden at Boschendal.
Boschendal help workshop goers to learn more regarding the utilisation of simple cost-free probiotic inputs as part of increased soil hydration practice, reducing the need to irrigate. So needed in this time of drought.
The use of Dynamic Nutrient Accumulator plants and preparations to support local bio-availability for healthy yields will also be explored, and details shared regarding micro-biome health, garden teas, LAB preps, the use of bio-char, plus waterless loos.
A light lunch will also be served from fresh produce out of the garden.
