Alida Ryder is one of my favourite bloggers. Her recipes are always generous in terms of colour and flavour, and they come from her heart.
Her first book Simple and Delicious stands stained, edges frayed on my kitchen shelf and her latest Cook from the Heart looks as though it is going that way too.
Cleverly divided into ‘mood’ chapters, there’s food for Happy, Melancholy, Celebrate, Nostalgia and more.
As before, all the recipes are hers, all the food styling and indeed the photography is hers. The pics are so good you want to reach in and grab! But more importantly, they make you want to get into the kitchen and start cooking.
It is a book without which I would not want to do!
