Simonsig Wine Estate celebrates its fourth Vintage Day on August 12th where wine-lovers will once again be given the rare opportunity to taste and buy of the estate’s older vintages. Savour and stock up on Kaapse Vonkel MCC from 2003, Redhill Pinotage from 2007, Merindol Syrah from 1999 and bestseller Bordeaux blend, Tiara, going back to 1997.
An exclusive opportunity to attend a master class tasting with Cellarmaster Johan Malan will also be available.
Bring your friends and family for a relaxed day out in the winelands with live entertainment, fine wines and a tasty selection of foods by Cuvée Restaurant for purchase on the day. A special fully-supervised play-area for kids will also be made available.
Vintage Day is from 11:00 to 17:00.
Tickets are R165 and include a glass and all tastings.
Under 18s accompanied by an adult will be admitted free of charge.
The Master Class will be held from 09:00 to 11:00 and attendance costs R200 per person.
