Rietvallei JMB Cabernet Franc 2014, real swanky with all its award stickers

Rietvallei Wine Estate in the Robertson Wine Appellation has been in the Burger family since 1864. Kobus Burger is the current owner of the Estate which has some really old Muscadel Vineyards, which make the sweetest and most underrated wines in South Africa.

The Rietvallei Burgers, Kobus, Elizabeth & the next generation

The Rietvallei JMB Cabernet Franc 2014 is a single vineyard wine planted with Cabernet Franc vines in 2003. Much awarded, the wine is but one of s few excellent wines made on the Estate. Well worth a visit for its lovely views and atmosphere, a superb tasting room. Rietvallei also offers a fine CHEESE PLATTER which offers a combination of fresh, aged, soft and hard cheeses. Also fresh fruit, cold meat, biscuits and a lovely jam and/or sauce to round it off. And of course these platters with its mouthwatering bites are perfect complements to the Rietvallei wine selection on offer.
