The Vineyard Hotel spoils Mum on Mother’s Day

With exquisite views up to the mountain and acres of tranquil gardens, The Vineyard Hotel has always been the perfect venue for any celebration, and their Mother’s Day luncheon is always a delicious feast.

This year, The Vineyard’s Mother’s Day Menu, served in The Square Restaurant from 12h30 to 14h30, begins with choice: smoked-salmon orzo teamed with a pea-mangetout-tomato-and-spring-onion salad, and garnished with a crispy Parmesan wafer, or a colourful, tasty salad of wild rocket, baby beet and butternut, with Danish feta, pumpkin seeds and a cranberry dressing.

The main course is a buffet with options fit for a queen: salads, sirloin, chicken cacciatore, line fish in a shrimp-and-caper butter sauce, spinach and ricotta cannelloni, buttered baby carrots and peas, honey-roasted sweet potato, broccoli-and-baby-onion sauté with toasted almonds, and warm, spiced couscous.

Dessert will be a plate of chocolate delicacies that will take you straight back to the days when your mum spoilt you with chocolate treats. It’s your turn to spoil her now!
