Alex Milner is the great great grandson of Field Marshal John Denton Pinkstone French, 1st Earl of Ypres, the British General who led the relief of Kimberly during the Boer War. Stefan Gerber is the great great grandson of Stefanus Johannes Paulus Kruger, President of the Transvaal Republic.

The two young men met when they were studying winemaking at Stellenbosch University. They have an interesting range of well priced wines. Alex and Stefan, The Boer and Brit, have recently launched Bob’s your Uncle. A crazy irreverent 500ml brown beer bottle with a crown cork!
